		"A Furry Tail Evening to Benefit Pets Alive" was an enormous success, raising close to $400,000 for Pets Alive Animal Sanctuary. The event included a formal dinner followed by an intimate concert featuring Rob and Chris Daughtry. Pets Alive intends to use these funds to make much-needed repairs to better the environment at the shelter; open a low-cost spay/neuter facility; and start a training and outreach program for local school children to introduce them to animal care and altruistic living.

Our first Sidewalk Angels benefit, held at the China Club, in New York CIty, was a great success. It not only helped us raise money but, just as importantly, it helped raise awareness of the great work that Pets Alive does. Thanks again to Jewel, Darryl, Rhett, and everyone who participated in making it such a special night. We look forward to many more, and we believe they'll only get bigger and better with time.
